| Re: Compatible DVD burner for iDVD I bought the Pioneer DVR 108 after reading about iDVD having problems with other drives. $109 from Other World Computing. Best price I found - not any relation to them but they seem to have very competitive prices for Mac things and they ship fast. I have burned a number of DVDs very successfully so I am happy with it. I have a G4 Quicksilver. > I know the price/quality thing but I'm not gonna be using this a >> hell of a lot so this shouldn't be an issue I can see this thinking in terms of speed, but quality? I did discover that you DO NOT have to remove the front door on the 108 like they show you in the instructions; it works just fine leving it on. They also have little quicktimes on the tech page to show you how to install stuff. http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_It...ODVR108DVB3KIT Simon Powell wrote: > All, > I have a G4 AGP (Sawtooth) and want to put a DVD burner in it to use iDVD to > create films. | Re: Compatible DVD burner for iDVD Is there a compatible pioneer or other external USB or firewire DVD recorder that will work with iDVD on a recent OSX G4 emac or does the drive have to be internal to work with iDVD? learner In article <2bGdnTQIILncoSfcRVn-pg@comcast.com>, Sterling <nobody@nowhere.com> wrote: > I bought the Pioneer DVR 108 after reading about iDVD having problems > with other drives. $109 from Other World Computing.
