OS9 + OSX

Does running OS9 degrade performance in OSX?

I have 1 gig ram on Titanium PB at 1 gHz

The 'real' answer is yes, but on a fast machine it's so small as to not
be measurable- or at least noticeable. And it depends on what you mean
by running- if you are running Photoshop in Classic (the term for
running OS9 within osX), you'll see some real hit, but then no one'd
ever do that, right? <s>
