Tiny Icons in OS X

Hi,

In OS 9, I changed the icon of a file by doing Cmd + I and pasting a new, 32
x 32 pict into the Get Info window. Works. But when I view the file in OS X,
the icon is tiny -- it's maybe 4 x 4 pixels.

This is happening with every icon I've tried.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks!

Kathy

OS X icons are 128 x 128. Have you tried Finder's View Options
(Command-J) to resize them?

=:~)

Yes, I tried that -- selecting the large size icon -- but it doesn't help.
I've got a dual boot machine (OS 9.1 and OS 10.2), and in OS X the icons for
other OS 9 files show up at a normal size...the problems only happens after
I replace a file's icon in OS 9.

Is there a better way to replace an icon?

Thanks!

Kathy
