DVD Player wont work - Technology Questions

DVD Player wont work

iBook 600 DVD/CDRW Drive. It plays the sound with a black screen.
I Copied DVD Player from a previous Backup and the same thing.
I Cannot watch DVDs on my iBook anymore. Anyone know what I should do.
