Netscape Webmail

When I compose and send mail from Netscape, using my Netscape Webmail, I
get a message:

"Sending of message failed.
The message could not be sent because connecting to SMPT server
smtp.netscape.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing
SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMPT server setting is correct..."

HOWEVER, the message is sent and appears in the sent folder as well as
getting to the recipients.
Using Netscape 7.1
OS 10.3.4

Re: Netscape Webmail

you have set netscape to save a copy in 'sent' - but it is on the
server, and either the server will not allow this or there is no sent
folder on the server

Re: Netscape Webmail

Anytime I have seen something like that, it was the server, not the
client. I have been using Netscape/Mozilla exclusively since 2001, but
have never tried to use Netscape's webmail, only my ISP's (Cybertrails,
Verizon, and now RoadRunner) server. I think I was with Verizon when I
saw that.
