| Belkin FireWire 6-Port Hub I have a Belkin FireWire 6-Port Hub Part # F5U526-SLV which I have not used in some time. I do not recall wether the power supply is needed (can not find mine). Any clues? -- http://homepage.mac.com/mkatzman/ |

The hub itself can run on bus power; but if you're going to connect other bus-powered devices to it, you really should use the power supply. |
