| Decent video card speeding up iPhoto? Hi, I'm running a slightly old school B&W G3 Mac (300 MHz) with 684Mb RAM, and this is fine for almost everything I want to do *except* the (notorious) iPhoto. A CPU upgrade is somewhere down the line for me, but I also wondered whether it was worth upgrading my video card (bog-standard ATI Rage) to something with a higher spec: would that help much, or would it just be focused on 3D performance (I don't game on the mac, so this isn't really needed). Any advice or experience much appreciated, J |
