PDF link in Safari turns into a Quicktime page - why?

When I click on a Safari page to obtain a pdf, it just turns into a
Quicktime screen shot - even control-click doesn't seem to work. I'm
wondering if this is a pref in Safari or Acrobat 6 (prof) that needs
changing. OSX is the latest. Any ideas appreciated.

There are two things you can do. First, just print the page using command P
and "Save as PDF" and you should end up with a PDF file. If the icon still
looks like a quicktime shot, you need to select it using "Get Info" (Command
+ I) and then select the "Open With" option and choose acrobat as the
default program to open all pdfs.

Kind Regards,
