Canon i960 Out of Ink message, Ha!

After several months of using the original ink cartridges that came with
my i960 printer, I got a message saying that my black cartridge was out
of ink and needed to be replaced. I took the cartridge out, looked fine
to me, and it was still printing in black. So I just reinstalled the
same cartridge, closed the lid and now I no longer get the Canon i960
Out of Ink message, Ha!
