| SAMBA problem I have a mac running 10.2.8 and a debian linux machine with samba set up. I can connect to my debian computer's samba share using Finder and can read and delete files. But, I can't copy files to the share. If I use the command line in Terminal, I am able to copy files to the debian server. I've set all the permissions on the debian machine to let me do anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance, David |

It does sound like a permissions problem. Could you post the relevant section of your /etc/samba/smb.conf and show the permissions of the shared directory. |
