Airport Trick

I remember reading in a macaddict several years ago about a tool that
would intercept unencrypted wireless signals and locate all the
pictures in them and display that. I may be wrong on some details but
that was the general gist it might have had something ot do with
machack. Any help in finding this tool would be appreciated. Thanks

You're looking for EtherPEG. It's not specific to wireless networks,
but will work by watching all the traffic that your network adapter
sees. On wireless networks, you see all the traffic for everyone that
is connected to your base station. On wired networks, how much traffic
you see is dependant on whether or not your network uses hubs or
switches.

Anyway, enough said. Here's the link: http://www.etherpeg.org/

Re: Airport Trick

That was the exact program I was looking for. I used it to do a proof
of concept in showing how secure the wireless network at my work is.
It is an amazing setup to have someone start browsing on the internet
and you pickup all the pictures they look at. Convinces them in under
10 seconds. Thanks
