SSHD Mac 10.3

I have installed openssh for sshd and ssh

sshd is up and running, and I can try connect
I get enter password
when I enter what I know is the valid password
I get "Access denied"
I know that this is the valid password,
regardless of the user I log in with?

Where do I set users and passwords, besides
'/etc/passwd' and the 'passwd username' command
for sshd to accept a user login ??
thanks

Barry

Any particular reason you don't use the built-in (open)ssh/sshd?

Its been a while since this was written, but the rest, I'll answer.

The "NetInfo Manager" is in the Utilities folder.
(/Applications/Utilities). But don't use it unless you know what you
are doing. This application can mess up your operating system.
