| Video Chat For G3 OS9?? I am installing a new USB camera here shortly that is compatible with OS 9. It's primary purpose will be family digital photography. The model can double as a web cam according to the specs. It is equipped with USB and an NTSC output jack (for showing images on the home TV screen). There is no specific software that will come with it to do conferencing. I am seeking suggestions for video chat software that will allow me to image conference, video, text, (audio if possible) that will run under OS 9.2.2. I've been looking at places such as MacOrchard and VersionTracker but few are specific. I understand iChat is OS X only?? Suggestions for solutions? DMK |

I'm an iChat AV user. Bob Harris |

The free Cornell Univ version is out there but increasingly not supported. The paid version of CUSeeMe by White Pine is a possibility of course I sippose. I'm looking for something cross-platform capable. It may be that Yahoo Messenger is about all as well. <sigh> |

| Re: Video Chat For G3 OS9?? I use CU-SeeMe with 9.2.2 Classic. I got it free from http://www.kensington.com/html/1377.html#macvideo. The software is bundled with the VideoCAMworks-1.20.sit.hqx file. If you do get in an online conference with it be prepared for anything. D. From what I can see you can use it as a DEMO for a while then have to send the fee. |
