| SOS disk authorisation problems Hi My Imac G4/700 with OSX 2.8 often crashes. There's a window asking me to restart the computer when it crashes. I used SOS disk to try to repair it. On SOS disk authorisation repair, I often have permissions that differ on like Messages says - Permission differ on, should be R--R--R they are RW-R-R - Group differ on. Should be 80, group is 20 What's an authorisation ? Why do I often have this kind of messages when I use SOS disk Authorisation ? Can it be related to memory problems ? If I take out the power plug from the wall for a long time (1hr) the computer doesn't seems to crash .. Heat problem ? Thanks Marc Legare |
