| Can G5 be made to work with my SCSI scanner? I currently have a 2001 desktop G4 with a SCSI card, driving a SCSI scanner. The reason I got this combo instead of a simple USB scanner is that it was the only kind I could find that had an automatic sheet feeder. I will soon be getting a G5 for my office; does anyone know whether there is a SCSI card for it, or a USB-SCSI adapter (I think I've seen them advertised) that will let me use this UMAX scanner with OS X on the G5? Or, maybe I need to bite the bullet and get a new scanner. Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent scanner that has a sheet-feeder on it? -- Mike Levin mlevin77@comcast.net |
