Rise up, Mac brothers and sisters!

CNN's "QuickVote" poll is currently "Are you a Mac fan or a PC person?"

Cast your vote! Stand up and be counted!

Thou sneerest too soon. We maccies are at 20% at the moment.

BTW: I see you still haven't figured out the intricacies of bottom
posting...

Maybe Mac users are off doing fun stuff rather than voting in online
polls?

I've had my first Mac a little over three months now and I have to admit
I am doing all kinds of things I didn't try with the windows machine.
And after almost 20 years of not having fun with computers under windows
I am happy to report I am again having fun. :-)

Good point! Besides, online polls may be very useful for those that are
seeking reassurance, but when you are in no doubt then this sort of poll
becomes meaningless.

Personally, I have always preferred superior technology to running with
the masses.

It's all that extra time we have not updating our virus software. :)

Besides, 10% showing is perfectly in line with the accepted norm out
there. About 1 in 10 computers out there are Macs (note that this is NOT
the same as "marketshare").

I wonder why the Windows gang think anything that threatens there "more
than 90%" myth is such a THREAT. Hmmm ...

My wife put up a sign over her new G4 laptop

"Does not play well with others"

In her mind I think 'others' is/are PC based folk.

I have always preferred useful technology than supposedly superior
technology that no one uses.

Its bad enough that your posts have to be so childishly inconsistent.

You said....
"Macs do look bad. Some of the ugliest computers on the market"
7th April 04

Then less than an hour later.....

you said....
"I guess that could explain why Apple makes their computers so 'pretty'"
7th April 04

But do we really have to wait 2.5 months to poke fun at you?
Lift your game!

I usually opt for that which:
WORKS,
is reliable,
allows me to get something done instead of,
applying fixes and updates to features I don't need.
