| stupid logic board failure on an ibook Well, I think this has finally cured me of being a mac fan. I don't know what annoys me more, the horrible quality control or their refusal to actually admit their constant, egregious design flaws. My AC adapter goes out, I go to the apple store, the guy resets the PMU. I bring it home, and a few hours later I get the black bars and freeze. I'm convinced the people at the apple store broke it, but not much I can do about that. I am curious as to whether this problem deals just with the display or does it go deeper? I lost track of the monitor adapter (never needed it), and I'd be willing to get another one and a monitor if that will bypass triggering whatever freezes my ibook now. Anyone know? |
