Can't play VCDs ? :(

I can't play VCDs on my mac. I try opening them in QT (QT Pro 6 / OS X)
and i get "input / output error" or "component missing" messages.

Guess it is missing plugin / codecs.... any ideas?

Thanks,

James

Also there are the differnt divX codexs check them out also.Do a google

NO, Quick Time is not set up to play VCDs under OSX, regardless of
what codecs you have (in fact QT with play raw mpeg1 files fine)

You need a program for playing VCDs try doing a versiontracker search
for MacVCD X (which is shareware $20) or VLC which isn't quite as
stable or reliable, but is free. VLC can play a lot of other files
like MPG2, or dixv, even some WMV.
