Retrospect Client under OSX ?

Hi!
Did anybody face problems with Retrospect Client under OSX 10.3?
After start it shows 'The client installed without permissions' and
simply stop working.
I reinstalled the beast twice, no problem found during installtion.
Any solution?

Ivan

Works for me.
Retrospect client is in
/Applications/Retrospect Client (a folder that is owned by me--the
adiminstrator with rwx permissions for everyone). The application itself
has

drwxrwxrwx 4 root staff 136 21 Nov 16:44 Retrospect Client.app

inside of which is

drwxrwxrwx 8 root staff 272 21 Nov 16:44 Contents

inside of which is

-rwxrwx--- 1 root staff 919 3 Jun 2003 Info.plist
drwxrwxrwx 4 root staff 136 21 Nov 16:44 MacOS
-rwxrwx--- 1 root staff 8 3 Jun 2003 PkgInfo
drwxrwxrwx 13 root staff 442 21 Nov 16:44 Resources
-rwxrwx--- 1 root staff 287 3 Jun 2003 pbdevelopment.plist

There is also a startup script that gets installed in

/Library/StartupItems

Do your permissions agree with these?

Re: Retrospect Client under OSX ?

have not done a panther install yet - but under Jaguar

I had to authenticate the installer as ROOT to get the installation to work

Is this the 5.1 client? Did you run the patch to fix the
permissions after installation? If not, download it from the dantz
site and see if it fixes your problems.
