Hi

My IMac G3/500 with OS9.2 is showing me a bomb when I try to start it.
There's an indication of a bus error.

There's a high speed modem connected in the ethernet socket of the iMac.

If I desactivate the extensions, I can start my iMac without any problems.

What's the problem and how can I repair it ?

Sounds like an extension that's causing the issue...

I would begin by running Extension Manager and look for anything I don't
recognize or anything that was installed recently and turning it off.
Restart and see if it still bombs... it can be a rather tiresome
procedure, but it will lead to the cause eventually.
I recently ran into something similar with a conflict between multiple
users and a Logitech mouse driver...
