| NoClassDefFoundError: Java Connector/J for MySQL on MAC OS X question I wrote a plugin for ImageJ and I want to store the results in the remote MySQL database. It works all fine on one machine Mac OS X (with a local MySQL installed), but it doesn't run on another Mac OS X (without local MySQL). I am new to Mac, but I am used to working on Linux. I am pretty sure the error occurs here: Class.forName("org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver").newInstan ce(); so I dumped the mysql Connector/J file in the /Library/Java/Extensions/ directory, but this didn't solve it. Do I need to do anything else to get this working?? Anyone got an idea, how to find out, why it works on one machine but not on the other? thanks alot... r |
