JPEGs Copied to CD-R

I just copied some old picture files (jpgs, gifs, bmps, etc.) to a CD-R
using Disk Copy. (I have a G5 running OS 10.2.8) When I double click on a
file icon (on the CD) I'm unable to view the picture. If I copy that file
back onto the hard drive and double click, it opens in Preview just fine.

I just noticed the same thing happens with a CD I recorded on the Windows
machine I'm migrating from - I can see the files on the Mac, but to view the
picture I have to copy the file onto my hard drive

I'd really like to be able to view these pictures from the CD. What do I
need to do?

Srb
