iDisk is use FTP server/client method or NFS or SAMBA??

iDisk is, I think, done using WebDAV. http://www.webdav.org/ has lots of
info about this (but the site is down as I write this).

If you are familiar with Apache and would like to setup your own WebDAV
server then you should search for "mod_dav" on google.
