record using PowerPoint?

Powerpoint (OfficeX) doesn't seem to record even tho' everything looks like
it's recording. The 'play' option results in silence altough there is mic
noise so something is apparently connected. Just no voice.

Other apps record fine but I was wondering if this was a bug in PowerPoint for
OSX?
