| Emptying the Trash Is there a way to empty the trash associated with a single volume? I'd like to be able to empty the trash associated with a flash memory unit I'm using to hold some backups and transfer files from a Windows machine. The only ways I've found to do that are to (1) do it under Windows or (2) empty the trash associated with my hard drive at the same time. I have a G5 running OS 10.2.8. Can I empty the trash from the flash memory unit without emptying the trash from my hard drive? (Partly, it's because of a bad habit of mine to use the trash as a secondary storage and partly it's because I like to think I know something about what I'm doing.) -- Srb |
