OS X v10.1.5 to OS X v10.3?

X-No-Archive: yes

Any problems in upgrading from OS X v10.1.5 directly to OS X v10.3? Or
does one need to have upgraded to OS X 10.2.? first?

TIA,
Pete

I haven't heard any reports either way, but it should work.

There is no "upgrade edition" of 10.3. The same $130 package is used
for both upgrades and new installs.

This is incorrect. P/N 2Z691-4633-A, Mac OS X Panther 10.3 Upgrade, as
ordered from http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/.

Different Media, and requires that an existing 10.2 installation be on
the target drive. Does have an option to do a clean install, wiping the
existing installation, but will not install on an empty partition, or on
one with an earlier version of the OS.

Perhaps you should actually read the page you provided.

This is not a generic upgrade edition that any 10.2 user can purchase.

This is an exclusive offer only for those people who bought new
hardware after the 10.3 announcement (or any G5).

Everybody else - including the OP - will have to buy the full package
in order to perform their upgrades.
