HELP: IE 5.2.3 (mac) "Web Archive" File QUITS automatically

Hello!!

Have been using IE 5.2.3 for a while but this is a problem I have found
with ALL versions of IE 5.2.X.

There is a way to save an internet page as a "Web Archive" in the "Save
As..." dialogue box which allows you to save the web page AS IS LOOKS
online for use later/offline and saved in a single file. The file type
is a "WAFF" file.

ODDLY, some of the Web Archive files that I have saved over the past few
months/year open fine and show the web page just as if it were still
available or I was otherwise looking on the web, however, *MANY* of the
Web Archive files that I launch ATTEMPT to open only to UNEXPECTEDLY
QUIT Internet Explorer and WILL NOT open. As a result, I am unable to
open the file and the information/contents can't be viewed and are,
apparently, lost.

I am UNable to figure out why some Web Archive files save and CAN be
opened just fine and others cause unexpected quits with the IE program
and CANNOT be opened.

If anyone has any suggestions, reasons, answers or HELP, PLEASE post a
message. Also, does anyone know of any other browser or program that
will open up the Web Archive WAFF file format??

THANKS TO ALL!!

Scott
