I'm having some trouble with the sound on my G4. When I play a CD, DVD
or a MP3 it works fine at first, but then if I work in another
application (or do anything that makes the HD spin it seems) the sound
gets softer, or gets static or stops. I'm not running an excessive
number of applications. Just Internet Explorer and maybe my mail
program. I didn't have this problem before. I didn't make any changes.
All I did was move to a new apartment. Could this be a hardware
problem?

It happens with the apple CD player and Auidion (my MP3 player
application) and even in soundedit. I'm running system 9.1.

Anyone know how to fix this?
