Xpress 6.0 - petition against Quark

For all of those who decided to buy or upgrade to Xpress 6 it is clear that
this would be a beta version, and not a fully working application.

Just after the new version release, Quark decided to close the forum on its
own website. Then it did change the politics of the technical assistance,
making it very expansive and limited to just one free call for any licence.

Many of us did make that call, but very few of the real problems were
solved. Technicians just tell us: quark was informed, just wait some time
for the solution! Time pass, we did pay promptly but solutions don't come up
so promptly. The fact, maybe, is that THEY HAVE NOT THE SOLUTIONS :((((

It can be supposed that this would be a strategy to charge us (their
customer) again and again to let them earning on a not working product. To
us this would not be right at all! This is contrary to any commercial
rule!!! If this will be permitted, from now any software house can adopt
this insane behaviour and we will never be able to own a fully functional
licence - we will forever be blackmailed.

It is not just for the 700+ euros that I did pay for my upgrade, but also
for the lost incomes due to the fact that it stays there on my Mac, waiting
to be functional, that I am angry!!!!!

I would invite all of you that were disappointed with Quark to join us on
the http://groups.yahoo.com/group/QXPress/ to meet our group
We put online a bugs report database - ten record right now - to collect all
the malfunctions encountered.
When we will have at east 50 bugs (very easy to us) we would start an
international petition against Quark to put them on their own
responsibilities...

Please join us!

If you hate Quark, try MultiAd Creator Pro or Creator Desktop instead.
Tons better and insanely scriptable. <www.creatorsoftwar.com>
