I apologize if this is a dumb question or if it's been anwered already
but I havent been able to find the solution.

I want to be able to see DVDs on the TV using my iBook 500 mhz so I
just bought the AV adaptor cable the guy at Comp USA told me to.
However, I cant get it to work properly -- I get a very lousy picture
on my TV which is actually sort of split in three. The guy at Comp
USA told me all i needed was this cable and that it should work
immediately. I am running Jaguar, btw. Do I need to reset some
system prefs or something?

I know it's probably easier to just go out and buy a DVD player, but
the thing is, I currently live in England and would like to see my
US DVDs on my TV over there, plus, I have UK DVDs I would like to see
on a tv here in the states. So the second part of my question is will
this work on a PAL TV as well? Right now I'm visiting my sister in
the states and am testing the new AV adaptor cable thing I bought on
her regular TV and like I said, it's not working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
