File Sharing

Would someone be kind enough to tell me how to turn on File Sharing on
my wife's MAC 7200 running OS 7.5.5?

Thank You

Go into the control panel, look for fileshare setup,
and click it, fill out info, name of computer, and password,
and click turn on fileshare.

I found that Sharing Setup was not installed. I installed it from the
original CD. Now when I click on Sharing Setup, I get the following
message:

"This Control Panel can be used only when the network extension is
present. To open this control panel, first put the network extension in
the extension folder and re-start your MacIntosh."

What do I do next please? I can't find "network extension" anywhere.

I am a PC guy trying to help my wife on her MAC so please forgive my
ignorance.

Hopefully you have the 7.5.5 installation disks/disc around. Run the
installer and make sure you select all of the network stuff. That should
do it.
