Could you be just a wee bit more specific?

Quark shortcuts in 6 work just fine for me ... a number of them have
changed, but they are printed in the menus alongside the commands.

Ok.
I had malfunctions over the text-pictures formatting shortcuts - e.g.
Optiop+shift+> does not increase the font size, nither the picture size, and
the same is for the Optio+shift+< which doesn't decrease nothing. Many other
combinations don't work under the font modification options, such as
horiz/vert scaling, leading and so on. I did read the new shortcuts for this
version. I printed it and I am currently trying all of them to see all the
mismatches.

Tell me if these are running right over your machine please - I hope it
would not be a conflict with someother here.

That's right, it doesn't. Nor has it ever. It's always been
COMMAND-shift->, at least since version three.

The only ways I know to increase picture size is either to
shift-command-drag or command-drag (proportional and non-proportional,
respectively), or type in new values in the palette at the bottom.

See above.

I'm sorry, you are right :) it is command+shift+>, and it either doesn't
work!

You can see in the help topics that it would be the same as for the font
size: command+shift+> to increase and command+shift+< to decrease the
picture size.

This is almost always indicitive of a system extension of some kind that
conflicts with Quark.

An easy way to test this is to create another user; one with admin level
privs, but no third-party extensions or system stuff of any kind. Run
QX6 and see if the same problem occurs. If not, then you have a
third-party haxie or something that is conflicting with Quark.

I'll give that a try and see if it works.
