Need Mac Technical Help? Read This!

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I am the owner of
http://www.machowto.com, a website which is dedicated to the FREE exchange
of Macintosh support and dedicated to making a community that isn't focused
on making money but making peoples lives and jobs easier by giving answers
to common problems. Unlike Macfixit.com we will never charge for a service
we provide, we believe that this is contrary to the community spirit we are
trying to achieve.

I know you have read this message in other newsgroups and you may or may not
think that this is spam, I happen to think it is the best way to make a new
site known to the public. I apologize if this message upsets you.

Right now all that is open to the public is a forum, but much more is coming
but with a shortage of help and I myself having a Full Time Job, a wife, and
my own life, things are coming slowly, but here are some things to look
forward to:

A Database of problems and answers for all Mac Models. A Centralized
database of all Mac models and specs A report database for conflicts,
firmware etc (things Macfixit Charges for) A How-to database so you can add
or find a how-to for just about anything.

I have a great future planned here and I want everyone in the Macintosh
community to come and help make it a place where new and old Mac users can
unite without the fear of having restrictions on what they can say or do
(within respects). I want this to be a place where people can express
themselves, help others, or just add something to the community. So if you
are a Mac user or someone interested in the Macintosh platform, come and
stop by www.machowto.com and make it your home.

Sincerely

David Besade
