When the screen image changes it causes the screen to change slightly in size..
My imac is about 4 yrs old and this has only started happening recently. Any ideas??

Having the brightness too high on your monitor settings might cause this if
you change from a dark color to a light color. You might want to try reducing
the brightness.

Thanks for the advice Steve. I've tried adjusting the monitor settings, but whatever it is it's more extreme than that.
Cheers.

Did I say brightness, I meant contrast. If setting the contrast significantly
lower doesn't do it, I'd say video card or cathode tube would be my guess.
And that is just what it would be. A guess.
