| Installer for printer won't continue - why? Anyone know why the following occurs, and how to solve? We have a G4 with Mac OS X 10.2 and it currently prints fine to a variety of printers. We want to add a Canon i6500, and inserting the driver disk (or downloading from websitre) starts the installer, accepts the password for admin auth, then when you click Install, it just does nothing - you can continue to click Install or Back or whatever... but no progress is made beyond that screen. Canon are no help! Have confirmed removal of any previous Canon 6500 stuff (there was none). The printer is USB, not plugged in yet, and works OK on a W2K PC. Any help appreciated. Mike |
