Why does it not surprise me that this smeg-for-brains would make that
claim. I have used over 20 different USB mice on Macs (most of which
were not marketed for Macs). Even cheapies like the CompUSA house label
have worked flawlessly. My experience indicates that if the mouse has
USB, it WILL works well. Unlike Windows, no custom drivers are required.

Logitech has several. I'm use an MX Revolution on my Mac at work.

If you have bluetooth there are some bluetooth mice available.

Doesn't matter, other than you may actually find a mouse that, even in this
day and age, is actually made for only Windows. But beyond that, if works on
Windows it works on Mac. Zara will tell you all about his or her brother in
law who could not find a Mac-compatible mouse if he were in an Apple store in
Cupertino -- but zara is total liar.

And it's Mac, not MAC, which is whole 'nother thing.

If I decided to go wireless, I'd give up functionality to get one that
didn't need battery replacement (recharging station).

Wires are easier.

I use a Kensington bluetooth for my iBook. I use a wired trackball in
the IntelMini, in both OSX and Parallels. I wish the bluetooth trackball
was available.

The wireless Mighty Mouse or any other standard Bluetooth multi-button
mouse.

Bluetooth isn't the only solution, though it may be the best. I have a
Logitech bought a couple years or so back that uses a USB port to
connect its RF part that communicates with the mouse. Like Bluetooth,
it requires batteries in the mouse or elsewhere. Unlike Bluetooth, it
occupies a USB port. I have no idea if such are still widely available,
though, or if it's pretty much a given now that Bluetooth is the thing
to do.
