Classic. How to install?

This'll seem like a dumb question and it is. But I just had to
re-install OSX 10.4 on a fresh drive and now...I don't know how to put
Classic on the drive. I feel like an idiot.

I have a 9.22 disc but it won't install on my G5 dual 2 GHz so how the
hell do I get Classic on here?

Are you installing from your install disks that came with your system?
On mine, there were 2 disks, and the icon to install Classic was
located on disk 2.

Thanks, John. That'll be my problem.

I do have original discs. But I'm away from home just now. I always
travel with disc 1 in case I have a problem (which, indeed I did,
necessitating a new system install) but I've left disc 2 behind.

Asking for a post of disc 2 would be off-topic here, I guess. Maybe I
should go into alt.binaries.mac.osk.apps unless some kind reader will
do it here.

Since installing from the original 10.4 disc, I've done all the
Software Update things. Will I now face a problem if I try to install
Classic from an "old" disc 2?

I don't think there were any updates to Classic, so the"old" disk
should work fine.

I recently installed Classic on my nine-month-old G5 under OS v10.4.9,
with no problems; I'd done several updates to the original system during
the interval.

Thanks, John.

Subsequent to my posting, I discovered that I don't have the disc with
me. I travel a lot. I carry disc one but not disc two. I am hoping some
kind soul will post disc two for me but, so far, nobody has taken me up
on the request. Sob.
