The Tatung Tablet PC is a thin, sleek, black, and lightweight slate with a detachable keyboard and mouse pad. There is an array of buttons on two opposite sides for quick access to wireless networking, keyboard shortcuts, and more. Ports for adding high speed USB 2.0 devices (such as your Apple iPod), Firewire, RG45 LAN, and 802.11b provide for a wide range of connectivity options. An additional unique feature includes a biometric fingerprint pad for increased data security. All of these features combine to make the Tatung Tablet PC a perfect desktop replacement for teachers who travel from classroom to classroom, who are in meetings, in workshops, or mobile during their lectures and lessons. In fact, teachers can cast away their handhelds, tape-recorders, and VCRs too because it’s possible to use a Tablet PC for these jobs.
