| The difference of two letters Do I know the difference between $userid and $username? Apparently I don't. :p The email went out today asking for members to look at a particular thread that has gone unanswered. Unfortunately I typed $userid and not $username. Therefore, the emails were addressed to a number and not a person's name.

| Hmm.. I know it's been sometime since sending out emails but it used to be done regularly. The response to the one I sent today was rather interesting. Several thought the emails were very helpful and replied to my email account with a thank you. One even said that they felt better knowing there really was a group of people willing to help. On the other end of the spectrum, I just received a nasty note from someone who was offended and called it spam. All registered members can uncheck the box labeled "Receive Email from Administrators" in the "Options of the "User Control Panel" if they do not want to receive these mailings. This is a community and we are here to help each other. I realize some people come here, register to see the comparison chart, and then move on with their life. That is fine. It is better to keep focused. This site is designed to help anyone looking for help. And that is what we will continue to do. Thank you again to all of you who have helped each other over the course of the last year. And welcome to everyone who is new. Sorry if anyone was offended. But more mailings are on the way - especially when someone doesn't have an answer!
