do a windows system repair with
the setup cd. select new install,
point to the o.s. on the hd, and
say yes to repair.

try you winpro first if the
slipstream actually works.

if not, then try you home edition,
if it actually will let you since winxp
home may not be backwards compatiable.

if nothing works, then you will
need to borrow someones winxp
pro and do the repair.

after the pc is up and running,
use something that will replace the
cd key with the one for your pc.
