| RE: microsoft document imaging shutdown I don't know if this will work for you, but here goes. I had the same problem
and it was very problematic for a while. In my situation it only abended when
I tried to go to the file menu. I just started using the little diskette icon
to save my scans for a few hours and then whatever the problem was
(MSVCR80.DLL maybe?) just went away. The file menu options and everything
works fine again (for now). I have been using the document imaging for a
while now to scan everything and I just put SP1 on for Vista, but I dont know
if that was the issue or not. Anyway I have no idea how or why this worked,
but use it if you can.
