Hi Robear,

I'm replying here simply to respond to your questions on this thread.
In the future I will use the update NG. First off, update has been
successful. At least, I've got:
- 1.1
- 2.0 SP1
- 3.0
I thought I'd have 3.5 recommended/installed also, but it wasn't
recommended by Update. I'll probable get that when I install some app
that requires it.

Since my problem is solved, there's no need for you to read further.
Out of respect for the fact you provided me with a number of
instructive questions, I have listed them below, along with my
responses.

Again, thank for offering me your guidance. It is much appreciated.

Yes, I only used 935100.

I was using Update under IE7. I was running Firefox in another
window.

Yes

No, MaxRegCl offers that as a start-up option and I elected it.

I don't know ... but I don't have it anymore :-)
