I guess I can resolve the issue. In fact you can do it your self. Please
follow the below simple steps:
1) Right click on an empty area of the desktop
2) Select “New” option and then “Shortcut” option
A window will be displayed. Then paste "C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe"
in the “Browse” box and click on Next button
3) Finally click on “Finish” button
These steps will place an Internet Explorer 7 icon on the desktop.
