Heh! A subwoofer in a notebook computer: priceless! My wife has a Sony
sub-notebook with bass enhancement and it raises buzzes and rattles from
the case, also.

I would invert the case, carefully remove the "feet" to access the
screws (and any other screws noted with ===>), and give each a gentle
tightening. Most notebooks have little, if any, metal in the case that
can give rise to annoying resonances, the connections are tight, etc.
It might be that the noise you hear is the subwoofer itself. It is
tough to get a subwoofer in a miniature size that is faithful.
