Sure - I know Mepis. Mepis has a good hard disk setup routine. I enjoyed playing with it a few months back. You might try booting a Knoppix CD and see how it does on the Tablet too.
Linux is a good OS for many things but my classroom and high school is very Windows centric. It's just easier to get work done and shared on a Windows box. But no - I'm not moving away from Linux but rather integrating it into a mixed environment. After all, some of my students enjoy Linux while others prefer to not venture out of their little circle of MS products. |
