Re: OneNote and Office Live Workspace

I'm following you step-by-step, Daniel!

yes - I'll call it just "workspace"

No, rather different. My url in IE7 looks like

http://workspace.office.live.com/#BA...3k-WpHo8kff9pL

If I try your format of url, it doesn't work. But let's say it doesn't
matter for now, I'll stick with mine.

Yes, I can select my directory using "Browse" in the Path dialogue, because
my Live Workspace comes up in my favorite places bar or in my network places:

http://xxxxx.workspace.office.live.com/

and I CAN get into the subdirectories to find "workspace". Fine.

BUT

when I press "create" I get a "do you want to create the folder?" "Yes", then

"OneNote cannot create a new note book at
<the location I chose>
Possible reasons include:
<none which I have any control over>"

I've tried at every point in my Live Workspace directory tree and get the
same message every single time.

eg. /workspacename/notebookname, /workspacename/Docs/notebookname/,
workspacename/Docs/ etc.

I can see how it's supposed to work, and I agree, MaseratiSembrati, it'd be
great to get SharePoint features for free. If I could press "create" and it
actually makes a notebook, I'd be very happy.

Thanks for your patience, guys. There's obviously some step missing that
you have done and I haven't. Any other ideas?
