A sitx file is a compressed archive created using Stuffit, you would need
the free Stuffit Expander to decompress it.

HOWEVER - you do not want to use WMP9 for Mac. It was long ago discontinued
and even when it was around (and allegedly supported by Microsoft) it was a
huge steaming pile of excrement.

As usual, third parties have written BETTER software than Microsoft to do
the same thing. You want instead to download the free Flip4Mac software
which lets QuickTime play WMV, WMA, and ASF files.

Go to http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm

I find it ironic beyond belief that Microsoft, the world's biggest software
company produce decent _hardware_ products, while producing such appalling
software.

........

The Microsoft hall of shame...

WMP9 for Mac
Messenger for Mac
IE Explorer for Mac
Virtual PC for Mac (after they bought it, they failed to deliver on initial
promises regarding upgrades)
Office (any version) for Mac <-- Makes even WMP9 look well written

Windows Vista

.........

It is also ironic that Apple produce better _Windows_ applications than some
(all?) of Microsoft's own.
