There are clues here:
"A) This issue may occur if the user profile was manually deleted...
B) This can also be a issue with the user profile entering into a backup
state."
It appears that (B) is what actually occurred. In the User Profiles sheet I
found the profile listed with status "Backup". I created a new profile, and
copied my documents and application data to it, but how to prevent that
happening again, and what to do first if it does?
I have no idea how this profile "entered into a backup state" or what that
even means.
Thanks,
