| Re: SP1 at Microsoft Update Would suggest waiting for WU offered version of the SP1 update since the file
will be much smaller than standalone version which can be 400-700mb. Updated
to Vista SP1 from WU this weekend and file size was only 70mb but I
regularly, daily, run WU and keep up to date with all security and other
patches for Vista. Do you have the prerequisite updates, e.g., 937287,
938371, 941229 installed? May be why you are not offered SP1 if these have
not already been updated. Good luck.
