1. Try clearing the Temporary Internet Files.
2. Clear the Java cache from Control Panel> Java> Temporary Internet Files
(they really shouldn't call them that)> Settings> Delete files.
3. Is a third-party security program blocking Java as active content,
scripting, etc?
